Modellbau gehört zu den für mich schönsten Hobbys. Dennoch gibt es auch die anderen, nicht aufschiebbaren Dinge des Lebens. Ein solches hält mich derzeit im Garten in Bewegung. Auch hier arbeite ich mit meinen Händen und genieße das Tun in vollen Zügen. Allerdings ist der Arbeitseinsatz sehr anstrengend und mit kribbelnden Händen, sind feinmotorische Tätigkeit im Moment für mich nicht zu schaffen. Aber ich kann es auch kaum erwarten, wieder an den Modellen loszulegen.

Hier ausnahmsweise einige Bilder aus meinem privaten Umfeld, die derzeit meine volle Aufmerksamkeit haben. Die alte Mauer zum Gewölbekeller wird zurückgebaut.

Eine luftigere Optik steht auf dem Plan.

Drei sehr harte Tage mit dem Abbruchhammer, liegen nun hinter mir.

Der Ausblick aus dem Esszimmer zeigt das wahre Ausmaß, tagelang Staub, über alle Maßen.

Das alles für einen ungestörten Blick auf eine weitere Baustelle, meine Trockenmauer aus alten Bruchsteinen. Im Vordergrund die nun größtenteils nicht mehr existierende Mauer

A short sign of life 😀

Model making is one of the most beautiful hobbies for me. Nevertheless, there are also the other things in life that cannot be put off. One such is currently keeping me busy in the garden. Here, too, I work with my hands and enjoy doing it to the full. However, the work is very strenuous and with tingling hands, fine motor activities are almost impossible for me to do at the moment. But I can hardly wait to start working on the models again.
As an exception, here are some pictures from my private surroundings that currently have my full attention. The old wall to the vaulted cellar is being dismantled.

Three very hard days with the demolition hammer are now behind me.

The view from the dining room shows the true extent, days of dust, beyond measure.

All this for an uninterrupted view of another building site, my dry stone wall of old quarry stones. In the foreground, the now mostly non-existent wall.
